For kids – make your own red wigglers compost worm bin on August 1

Hello Garison Way kids! What do you do with your apple, carrot, and potato peels? Do do want to learn how to compost them with red wiggler worms? Do you know what worm castings are? Do you know how you can use the castings? If you want to find out, you’re invited to come visit my worms. They live in a “worm townhome”. Worms like living in a dark, cool place. Their home is dark but it’s not cool right now in my backyard – on very hot days, I make them a simple air conditioning system. Join me in my Garison Way backyard on Saturday August 1 at 9:00 am to have fun with worms, learn, to make and take home your very own red wigglers compost tiny house with worms in it!

Parents, please contact GarisonWayWebmaster for details and to made reservations by July 28. Masks required to protect each others.
